Persevere and try and get the DNA

You try to get the DNA by sneaking around the man with out him seeing you manage to swipe a bit of DNA and go back to the gang. When you are back phill tells you to put it on Adam's jumper. You leave the jumper and some fake footprints in the woods to send the police on a wild goose chase.
